Raven black with 'le Mans' stripes and GT front , V8 manual gearbox new alloy rad many new parts suspension all round, engine re bult at some stage Eldebrook inlet and new carburettor and rocker covers, red interior in excellent condition, I always try to describe a car as accurately as possible and there are a few issues on the bodywork which we will be looking into but then it is 50 years old and it doesnt fail to turn heads ! drives very well, Uk registered and mot'd, situated with us in Sw France about 6-7 hour drive down from northern ports, we are close to several airports offering discount flights to and from the Uk or TGV train station just half hour down the road.

Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole

First registered late 1983 genuine 1 of only 157 made UK right hand drive cars. Until recently this car has been dry stored, last change of owner was 1995, it has its original brochure from August 1983, owners manual, workshop manual, original tool set, the V5 from 1995 and three sets of keys ! Interesting number plate A6 FER, the cars showing 39k miles and the last mot shows 35k miles in 2004 and it went into store in 2005-6. Interiors in good condition, headlining good, seats are comfy, carpets are good as are the door panels etc. To make the car 100% it will need respray as few bubbles in places. The underside is very clean, floors and sills very good, the sills must have certainly been replaced and evidence of small repairs to the floors though we have found some rust on the boot floor and in front of the left hand rear light assembly and also on the vertical panel behind the RH front light has a hole in it, other faults screen is starting to delaminate so requires replacement and electric sunfoof doesnt work as yet.
We have just recommissioned the car and replaced the cambelts and idlers, engine oil and filters, fuel pump, filter and new Bosch fuel injectors, the brakes have been inspected and serviced and they proved to be in very good shape no corrosion on the cylinders whatsoever, original alloys in good condition and Michelin tyres. Running the car up we were pleasantly surprised to see that with a bit of tinkering everything is working as it should be, we have just tested the car and covered 200 miles without any problems, Pick up a bargain and drive away. A little more info on the Mondial Quattrovalvole ...... The first Mondial engine, although a DOHC design, used just two valves per cylinder. The 1982 Quattrovalvole or QV introduced a new four-valve head, the combustion chamber design was purportedly based on the early eighties Formula 1 engine. Again, the engine was shared with the contemporary 308 GTB/GTS QV, and produced a much more respectable 240 hp (179 kW). Appearance was largely as per the Mondial 8, although with red engine heads and prominent "quattrovalvole" script at the rear. 1,145 coupés were built between 1982 and 1985. Mondial QV Production started: 1982. Production ended: 1984. Total production: 1,145, (157 Right Hand Drive) - 69 Imported to US/CA First serial number: 48037. Last serial number: 55343.


Porsche 924 LHD (1979)

This car has been cared for over the years , its a bit tatty on the edges few bubbles and cracks in the paint here and there , theres a tear and wear on the seats but very presentable clean and tidy. It is the 2.0 1979 car in silver and has the uprated wheels 15 inch 944 wheels I believe and it also has additional arches so looks a bit more than a 924. Has been in regular use with many recent new parts including oil and filters, distributor cap, rotor, plugs and leads, new timing belt and water pump, the list goes on. Ideal being left hand drive for someone looking for a Porsche to leave at their holiday home in France or Spain for example. This cars French registered and because its over 30years old it means running costs are very minimal for example it only has its controle technique (Mot test) every 5 yrs it is current we have been through the car so happy to renew this for a buyer and the basic insurance is just a mere £120 a year with no road tax ! So not a bad entry into Porsche ownership. Known faults as I say theres a few cracks in the paint and few bubbles here and there, heated rear window doesnt work nor the rear wiper and the exhaust has a blow we have patched it up but now ordered a new silencer and will be addressing the other issues included in the price. It can be registered in the Uk without too much grief and we can help with delivery if required or you can drve away from our place about 5-6hrs down from the northern ports of France, there are several airports and stations nearby Limoges, Angouleme, Poitiers, Bordeaux, La Rochelle to name a few !


Citroen 2CV Van 'Acadiane'

1981 runs and drives well, usual refinements, you can use it as is or restore to former glory, under 60k kms showing on clock, bundles of service history, a couple of useful manuals, receipts for parts and works, chassis looks to be very good. We have pressure washed the underneath and it looks to be rot free as has always been inland, floors good, bit of rust on rear door rhs as per photo and it needs a re-spray as has been done badly in the past and flaking in places but generally quite good for year. French registration document present so straightforward re-registration process in the UK. We are situated half way down in France not far from several airports Limoges or Poitiers to name a couple, offering cheap flights to and from UK.



Citroen 2CV Barn find with Suicide doors

This 1962 2CV is in excellent restored condition, documented rebuild, € 1,000's have been spent, very tidy looking car, white and blue, with many new quality parts fitted inc complete 'Mehari' roof, new seats, flooring, complete brakes and cylinders as new, tyres, very solid chassis and floors are original and have been cleaned back to metal and phosphoric primer treatment and stone chip painted, never been repaired previously, recent works include suspension bushes, clutch cable, door seals, door panels, floor coverings, bonnet lining and heater tubes, the list goes on. MGB Roadster 1963

Early 1963 MGB with pull door handles and correct 3 main bearing re-built engine. This car was originally Iris blue, we have the heritage certificate. It has an aluminium bonnet, the engine has been re built and has been re bored to +060 thou and it has an unleaded head, new clutch and is ready to re install. The engine bay is stripped of all equipment and boxed up. The car was sold at auction by 'Historics at Brooklands Specialist Classic car auctions' in 2014 and they described 'The monocoque structure appears to be very sound with good inner sills and floor's'!! But generally they just arent and unless the full sill job has been done properly they suffer and without exception so we made the decision to do full job and its currently underway so we have fitted inner and outer sills, castle rails, re-inforcers, jacking points, new floors, wings, lower rear wings and inner arch repair sections, LH side now complete all documented throughout. We have also pre-purchased some of the parts inc; Tonneau cover, master cylinders, water hose kit, gaskets which are included in the price. It is our intention to restore this car to as close to as original as possible whilst incorporating some modern sealers and tube cavity injection points for lasting protection better than new so this car will last another 50+yrs ! MGB Roadster 1976

Superb condition this car was restored meticulously some years back and is still pristine inside and out and as new under the bonnet and in the boot. We are currently converting this car to chrome bumper and early grill, it has the early dashboard. The car has a large file of history with all the old MoT's and invoices going back years. It has had just about everything done, including a new engine just 10,000 miles ago, new carburettors, complete suspension front and rear springs, brake and clutch master and slave cylinders, hood, carpets etc etc. The car is right hand drive and is currently on French plates but is priced to include the complete chrome bumper conversion and new MoT and UK registration, we just have to transport it back to the UK for fresh MoT and £55 fee to DVLA for new registration. Best of both worlds with this go anywhere deisel trusty Land Rover, this one had a defender Chassis and running gear with robust 2.5 deisel engine and 5 speed gearbox.
